About user accounts

Kronodoc manages the identities and contact information of all system users. This information is used to authenticate users during logon, to control access to Kronodoc data, and to log all operations. Email addresses are used for providing links to the owners and modifiers of folders and documents and for change notifications. All users (other than guest) have individual user names and passwords.

Note    When the optional Kronodoc Active Directory Connector is installed, creating, editing, and deleting user accounts must be performed using the Active Directory management tools as described in Managing Active Directory users. Adding and removing users in workspaces must be performed as described in Adding and removing Active Directory users in workspaces.
